If you would have gone through my previous posts, I have mentioned that I a firmware developer that is I develop custom roms. So this may come as a shock as a person who is in this business is not upto date with the development of the android world. Well I have some points for the same and this is why even you should consider holding on to kitkat for a bit more time.
First thing first, THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE that you guys have given me. To be frank, I started this blog to just save myself from answering the same questions again and again. Whenever a friend finds something interesting in my phone he would ask me how can he get that into his phone and this blog would thus serve as a answer. I had mentioned this earlier too and that was the sole reason I started writing. But the response that I am getting is amazing!! For sure it has grown much bigger than that…
Battery Life is one of the major concern of Android users. Getting that day full of battery is what we all want !! And to get that, you may have had installed a few (CRAP) apps from playstore too.
Not anymore. A app on itself cannot increase your battery life! Sounds strange but yeah. You need to stop the basic process which eats up unnecessary power. Learn to do just that and much much more in this tutorial.
Ever wanted to change a icon from within a app to something you liked ? Like the flappy bird showing up as a picture of your friend!! Change the name of the app to something you liked! Get along to be able to theme any app.
[This post comes as a part of xposed series]
Are you worried about your privacy? Ever thought why a music player would need a permission to your “contacts” ? or sometimes you just don’t want some apps to show up in the recent apps list. Wondered how to trick the playstore to show apps and games made for tablets on your device so that you get to download it directly from playstore? How about disabling autosleep feature for some specific apps (obviously that can be done by touching the screen again and again but why if there’s a better way?)
All of this and much much more in this post on “Xposed app setting”
(This post comes as a part of xposed module series)
When I got into my current college I met some very interesting people here. I was not much a social person before but now the story is different. I had a Facebook account for almost six years and had posted only “Thank you” on my birthday’s :p Mainly because I liked to be around people in person then on the internet. But when you see whole of your class doing something you feel like trying that, don’t you? That’s exactly how I got into “Snapchat” and even Instagram.
I found the concept amazing. Emoticons were made to better share the expressions of those chatting. This app takes it to a whole different level. What better way to show how you feel than take a pic of yourself ? Whatsapp too was quick to follow up by adding a camera shortcut right next to the typing field to enable the user to quickly take a pic,add a caption and send it in a chat. But that din’t go a long way :p
Xposed is a hell big thing to be covered in even 10 posts!! I would be doing it in a series fashion and will be talking about individual, modules in the continued series posts.
Xposed framework is undoubtedly the best android project ever! I have been in contact with android for almost three years now and have never ever seen a project developed at this pace. The amount of participation it gets and the impact it has had on the community as whole!
For the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting much more frequently. EXAMS DONE!! And thank you guys for the response. That surely does help 🙂
So today I have zeroed on LMT launcher. Don’t let the name misguide you. It’s not a conventional launcher you know. In fact it isn’t one too!! It is one of the best multitasking tool that you can have. Mark my words- THE BEST.
I’m really excited for this post. It’s where the real motive of me starting a blog begins. When someone questions me about how did that happen on my phone I really feel like telling everything. Every modification that I have made. Not to show it off that I know it but because I like to share it. But it’s a matter of time that the person starts to think that why did he ask that in the first place and I’m interpreted in a wrong manner (Though I care a shit. :p)
But now I’ll just say, “Hey, I write a blog on it. Why don’t you check it out ?”
